About "Rise of the
Anointed Ones" 'Rise of the Anointed Ones - 40 Days to a Deeper Walk
with God
|
 |
The “Rise of the Anointed Ones” is a 40‑day
devotional forged for the very hour we are
living in. These pages carry a vibrant
blend of eternal truths and Spirit‑breathed
insight, applied with precision to the
cultural storms and spiritual battles of
today. As you journey from one devotional
to the next, you’ll sense a majestic
progression—theme flowing into theme like a
river of revelation—calling God’s Anointed
Ones to stand, shine, and rise.
Each
devotional is a standalone encounter, yet
together they form a powerful pilgrimage
into the heart of God. In these tumultuous
days, they become a steady compass, guiding
readers into deeper intimacy with the Lord
and anchoring them in His presence. Every
entry concludes with a Davidic‑style
poem—lyrical, prophetic, and overflowing
with heavenly impartation—inviting the
reader to linger in worship and wonder.
“Rise of the Anointed Ones” is more
than a book; it is a clarion call—a voice
crying in the wilderness—summoning God’s
beloved away from the noise, the chaos, and
the distractions of this age, and back to
the One who burns with jealous love for His
bride.
We are undeniably living in
turbulent times. A global pandemic, cities
ablaze with unrest, natural disasters
shaking the earth, political upheaval, and
a culture steeped in hostility toward
truth—these are no longer rare events but
the rhythm of our world. It feels as though
creation itself is groaning, and the seams
of society are tearing apart.
So what is the Church to do in an age ruled by
fear, violence, and uncertainty? Have we
not been anointed for such a time as this?
Is this not the moment for the saints of
God to rise with Holy Spirit fire, stepping
boldly into the harvest fields with courage
and conviction? This devotional
challenges believers to awaken to their
divine calling—to stand as God’s anointed
ones in this decisive hour of Church
history. It is an invitation to rise above
the darkness, to walk in supernatural
strength, and to carry the light of Christ
into a world desperate for hope.

What Others are Saying about Rise of the
Anointed Ones
 |
Dr.
Jay Zinn, Author, Pastor, Discipleship Maker, writes,
“There are few authors who can take theology and turn
it into a devotional series of divine, inspiring
nuggets and poetry. Ken Birks is such an author who
penetrates your heart and soul to want to know God
better." |
| |
|
 |
Ed Becker, Author, Sr Pastor writes, "Ken Birks has
written a masterpiece of superb continuity. Each daily
devotional I read, along with the poem, and special
prayer, became my favorite in the whole book – until I
read the next one. As I finished the manuscript, I
realized each devotional revealed timely end-time
strategies to enlighten, equip, and inspire the
believer. Each devotional also challenges the reader
to grow, mature, and pursue the highest level of
Christian conduct." |
| |
|
 |
David Fredrickson, Retired
Sr. Pastor writes, "Most true followers of Christ
would agree that we are witnessing a time when
self-serving Christianity is reaping the whirlwind of
disunity, confusion, and fruitlessness. It is past
time to listen to the voice of reason merely. Instead,
we must respond with renewed minds, hearts, and
actions. Rise of the Anointed Ones is like a voice in
the wilderness calling God's beloved away from all
that distracts to Him who is jealous for His bride.
The reader who hears and responds will bring joy to
the heart of God and encouragement to others who have
put their hand to the plow. |

Excerpt from First Devotional
Anointed For
Such a Time
There is no doubt we
are in the midst of tumultuous times. As we
experience one catastrophe after another amid
a worldwide pandemic, it is obvious. Riots
with cities in flames, hurricanes, political
unrest, earthquakes, and turmoil amid a world
filled with hatred towards those who think
differently are all part of what has now
become our normalized world. It appears our
world is falling apart at its seams. As
Christians, what are we to do in an
environment that is controlled by violence,
fear, and the terror of what is to come? Have
we been anointed for such a time as this?
In the book of
Esther, we discover Queen Esther, who found
herself embroiled in a similar period of
unrest when her people, the Jews, were on the
verge of being eradicated from the face of the
earth. Just as Mordecai suggested that she had
come into the kingdom for such a time, so have
we. It may very well be that we have been
placed strategically where God has planted us
for such a time.
Esther
4:24 For if you remain completely
silent at this time, relief and deliverance
will arise for the Jews from another place,
but you and your father’s house will perish.
Yet who knows whether you have come to the
kingdom for such a time as this?”.
As storm clouds brew
over the land, the earth trembles. As
unrighteousness manifests throughout, evil
dissembles. Troubles coming from every
direction, darkness covers. As anxiety,
depression, and fear invade, multitudes
suffer. Engulfed in the madness of the
moment, numbness buffers.
